“No Right To Life” Report
I contributed to an important report, “No Right To Life”, published in connection with the “Conference on Race and the Borderlands: Human Rights, Human Triumphs, and Forging Peace on the U.S.-Mexico Border” organized by the Center for Human Rights and Hansen Peace Chair at San Diego State University in April 2023.
As part of a remote team from Loyola College Chicago and SDSU, I helped finalize a 32-page report detailing the ongoing humanitarian crisis facing families crossing desert areas along the U.S.-Mexico border. The situation has become increasingly deadly due to local and international policies, with families caught in the middle: the deadly deserts along the border.
My role involved formatting the final layout of the report for dissemination and use. I created custom data visualizations and charts to underscore the intense research featured in the report. These details and accompanying photography help illustrate the tragic human toll of the issues explored at the conference.
It was a privilege to support the work of Loyola College and SDSU’s Center for Human Rights on such a critically important topic. The Conference and published report aim to foster further discussion and progress on human rights and policy reform in the borderlands region.

I have been busy this season crafting a variety of Instagram advertisements and trailers for the various videos the Educated Choices Programs offers (for FREE) to educators and community leaders. I have been dabbling in a bit of script writing and voiceover work, so enjoy this latest two examples of my creations.
The Urban Art Shop Graphics
Another project that has been going on for a while is The Urban Art Shop in San Diego. The UAS offers state-of-the-art printing and engraving services to local artists in low-quantities and cost, and I have been working away for years for artists and supporters to notice it. Here are a few animations from the last few months.
