Working with this local San Diego laser-engraving and custom print shop, I have rebranded and expanded their social marketing efforts and customer reach utilizing Facebook, Instagram, Google, Nextdoor, and Yelp. 

Achievements

1683 followers on Facebook and Instagram with a 39.5% Audience Growth Rate over the first 2 years through successful organic posts with a reach rate over 73%. Over a recent 6 month period, efforts through Google Maps garnered 18,000 views, and 1315 actions. Yelp marketing had a 102% increase in user views over a 2 year period resulting in 41,176 result appearances

The Urban Art Shop

Founded in 2018, the Urban Art Shop is growing, collective workshop of artisans and creatives with a goal of forming a space in San Diego, CA where up-and-coming and well-known local artists can expand or reproduce their artwork. Creating the branding, outreach, and marketing of the shop,  we expanded their audiences in Facebook, Instagram, and Google with intriguing posts, custom videos, stories, and filters as well as making local connections through paid Yelp and Instagram marketing.

Achievements:

Event Participation

The Art & Craft Beer Festival 2019

 

For many years I have worked  to promote through social media the Banker’s Hill business networking event called the “Art and Craft Beer Festival”, showcasing the best businesses and foods in the neighborhood, as well as local art and craft beers from around San Diego. My roles include annual branding, material designs, social media marketing, video editing, and more.

Achievements: 

The event sold over 300 tickets, generating $9,000 for the local business group through an outreach campaign  that reached 3900 people, garnering 223 interactions that sold over 100 online tickets though Facebook alone.

#MyVoteIsEssential

Marketing on social media—while the norm for years—has become the main avenue of approach during the pandemic. Due to new monthly restrictions and sudden closures, outreach work has become entirely digital, with just a few physical pieces. Such as the #MyVoteIsEssential campaign to help get people—especially Essential Workers—fired up about taking part in their future and their and importance in the political process.

Achievements

You can never tell what exactly what finally motivates voters, but election results show almost 17.8 million Californians cast ballots in the election, the highest percentage of eligible voters to participate in a statewide election since 1952.

The Banker’s Hill Business Group

The Bankers Hill Business Group holds monthly meetings hosted by fellow Bankers Hill businesses to discuss ways they can make Bankers Hill better for the local economy, patrons, visitors, and residents. I have not only rebranded them twice over the years, but also helped them promote their businesses, events, and monthly meetings through creative social media marketing, emailers, and printed materials. 

Achievements: 

1000+ Facebook followers with a audience growth rate of 12% over the last two years with an organic post reach rate over 21%, I have invited and entered over 100 local businesses on to the directory site.
