I was so busy this last season, I split this post into two parts. Here is Part 2 of Part 3 of 2014! Also known as Part 3.5…
Art Ability 2014
Every year I have the privilege to help the good folks at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital put on their Art Ability Exhibition and Celebration of Art and Artists with Disabilities, and this year is none different. I help them with Save The Dates, Invites, Posters, Flyers, Emailers, Booklets, Wish Books, Donor Books, Wall Signs, Projections… you name it! All to get big names and collectors to view and purchase art at the exhibition before it goes on a national tour! Donations go to the hospital and foundation.

CPI Poverty, Earnings and Income in the City of San Diego 2013 Report
Was happy to make myself available to very quickly turn around the San Diego CPI’s “Poverty, Earnings and Income in the City of San Diego 2013 Report” in one day with the talented and intelligent people over there crunching numbers and digging through data to get this important piece out to the public. Fight For $15 – San Diego
Another project I’ve been happy to be a part of is the local Fight for $15 campaign, lead by community and activist organizations to raise awareness and action about livable wages and dignity. I’ve been working with their marketing arm on logos, t-shirts, flyers, banners, etc.to get the word out and the minimum wage up!

CPI Raise Up San Diego Gala
Every year the Center For Policy Initiatives has it’s annual gala to raise awareness and support for it’s causes as well as labor and social justice champions in the City of San Diego. It’s always a big name gala downtown with many well known politicians and public figures, and this year the theme took on the Comic-Con persona and elevated these community warriors to superheroes! I provided the design and illustration, as well as the Save the Date, Invite, RSVP, and signage and web materials, and the super-powered folks at the CPI handled the rest! Go Team!

HeartSparks
And finally, I am happy to announce the publishing of “Heart Sparks: 7 Practice for Loving Your Life” by Ruth Davis, of which I did the cover art. This little book sets out to spark the heart and mind with new ways of thinking about life and it’s permutations. Ruth, who I’ve worked with on her Mac2School logo and icons, also had me do a small seller’s card to help promote her book! Best of luck to the newly published Ruth!
