Well, I’ve gone and done it…

the designs…I’ve added a print design section to the site. As the summer creeps in, regular clients, as usual, are creeping out. When you work with a lot of educational clients and health-related clients, summer can be a slow period. This can be a double-edged aspect of my field, because that means soon checks will be dwindling, but it also means that time will open up for me and my business partner to regroup and give some much needed attention to future business endeavors. Portfolio polishing, website updating, social networking, and just plain getting a chance to relax, all of these things are a welcome trade-off for having to flex the old frugality muscle for a month or two during the summer stretch.

In celebration of this down-time, I’ve spent the last few days planting the seeds for future work by taking a hard look at the latest and greatest print designs, marketing endeavors, and advertising campaigns I’ve worked on over the years and collected them all into a javascript-enabled gallery logically grouped by goal and prospective client interest.

the designsSo, have a look at the newest section of the site and get an idea of what I do offline to make ends meet. From the long lineage of logos I’ve created over the last decade to my more recent capital campaign, advertising, and identity work I’ve done with Sara and others, I have to say there is something therapeutic about collecting the brighter stars of your body of work to date and projecting it into cyberspace for all to see.
