Creative Original
When my best friend Sarah Benoit asked me to help brand and develop the identity for her next business venture, Creative Original, I was more than happy to jump on board. For the last 5 years Sarah has made a name for herself in the North Carolina online business market by providing quality internet marketing solutions and search engine optimization campaigns that have turned out amazing results for the variety of clients under her watch.
Asking that I create for her an identity that captured her flair for style, creativity, and out-of-the-box business savvy, we began on developing a brand and style guide that she could implement in the variety of self-marketing avenues she was going to use to let her current clients as well as future prospectives know that she was there to meet their needs. After localizing and focusing on a look, feel, and logo, we broke into her web site, in which she was keen on managing the content and SEO options on her own. Developing a Content Management System using a platform she was most comfortable with (we chose Wordpress, although she is adept at Joomla and other CMS solutions as well) it was a quick and easy process to expand the stylistic choices we made into a fully functioning resource for her clients and classes to use for information and connectivity.
Some would say that working with a friend could be dangerous, but Ms. Benoit easily employed her confident, cool-headed, rational and friendly way of doing business—as she does with all her clients and students—to assure the process from concept to completion for this identity campaign and web development project was a complete success. Have a look at Creative Original so far and see for yourself! Best of Luck to Sarah and her new business!
