Since Jan 14th until Now…
I’ve been busy, as usual. In the last few months I’ve been doing a variety of things… mostly waking my dog, Lou. In between walkings, however I was able to pull together a site for my business partner’s wedding, 2 women’s clothing and accessory line CMS sites, and an asian food restaurant site.
First off, Cindy and Barry are getting married! Hoorays! And to celebrate, we made a little website. Chock full of experimental javascript and crazy swirly patterns, it’s aim is to get the word out about these two and their celebration.
Now, oddly enough I’ve been finding myself in an interesting predicament: I’ve been creating a lot of pseudo-cms sites a la Wordpress… in fact, this site itself is just that! This month has been a true bender as I created a whole CMS setup for Easy Pickins and Pop Trash. Not in that order.
From customized logins and dashboards, to my clients being able to fully manage their online stores, blogs, analytics and catalogs, this has been a few months of turning Wordpress modification into a business. Interestingly enough, each of my clients wanted to be able to modify their images in-house and have been taking a crack at it with Photoshop Express. And they’re doing a bang up job!
Finally, I just recently whipped up a quick and easy solution for a Wilmington, Delaware Area Asian Food Restaurant called Soybean Asian Grille. They wanted something sweet and simple that matched their restaurant, and we did just that.
Other than that I have become a big user of a number of 2.0’s as of late…netvibes, twitter, meetup, linkedin, yelp, upcoming, and songbird… go me! I suggest them, in that order, to everyone.
PS - I also just posted my first personal blog, have a look at it at anoki2.net!
